Q1: What does each of the bar on my top menu represent?



This is the Energy bar. Energy allows you to perform missions given by NPCs. The number shown to the left of the bar indicates how much energy you have left over how much is your max energy.

The countdown timer to the right indicates how much time is left until your energy is replenished.



This is the Money bar. The money you have is used to buy weapons and cars, which adds to your attack and defence. You gain money through carrying out missions, collecting them from properties or from robbing other players.



This is the Playfish Cash bar. Playfish Cash allows you to buy certain special weapons.



This is the Experience bar. Experience is needed to help your character advance in level. You gain experience from carrying out missions.



Q2: How do I earn money?

You can earn money every time you successfully complete a mission, collecting them from properties you have invested, when a family member you assigned completes a family job or simply by successfully robbing another player.



Q3: Where do I find missions?

Missions are carried out through NPCs that offers them in various locations on the map. You can find new and important missions through your Address Book.



The Address Book is found at the lower left corner of the menu.



Q4: What missions can I do and what does the mission bar represents?



The mission menu is shown whenever a person requires you to do a certain mission. The green bar behind the title represents the progress of mastery for that mission, once mastered, the green bar resets. There are altogether 3 levels to master and are represented by stars when you click on the mission. When mastering a mission, you will be rewarded more than the usual with either money, experience or Skill Points. When a job is mastered at level 3, the title will be shown in yellow.



Q5: What can I do with my energy and how do I replenish my energy?

Your energy bar is used to carry out missions. Your energy will be replenished by 1 with every 1 minute. You can also purchase energy drinks from the Black Market.



Q6: Why isn't my energy bar replenishing?

The energy bar will always show a countdown time whenever you are not attempting a mission. You will replenish 1 point of energy per minute. If you do not see the timer, it means that you have a full energy bar or you have additional energy.

The extra energy bar is shown in yellow and can be seen under the extra energy bar which is located above your normal energy bar.



The extra energy bar will only appear when you gain additional energy from energy drinks, packs or daily bonuses.



Q7: Where can I go to buy myself some equipments?

You can purchase various equipments for your character by accessing the Shop menu.





Q8: What are the stars next to each job and how does one master a job?

Each job in Gangster City is comprised of 3 levels of mastery which is represented by stars.


This represents that you have yet to master any level of the mission.


This represents that you have mastered the first level of the mission.


This represents that you have mastered the second level of the mission.


This represents that you have mastered all levels of the mission.

Each mission that you have mastered at each level will have a specific bonus to it:

Mastering it at first level: Additional money (varies)
Mastering it at second level: Additional EXP (varies)
Mastering it at third level: Additional skill point (+1)



Q9: How do I use skill points and how do I earn them?



You are given skill points from leveling up or mastering certain missions. You gain 3 skill points every time you level up and 1 skill point for missions mastery. Skill points are used to increase your Energy, Attack or Defence statistics.

1 skill point increases your Energy by 10, Attack by 1 or Defence by 1.



Q10: What are the yellow, red and blue dots on my minimap represents?



The yellow dots refer to properties you own. The blue dots refer to key locations where you can partake in missions. The red dot refers to the mission relating to the chapter of the story.
