Robot Candy Dispenser "Festive Decorating Competition" - Playfish

This project took me ages to make (approx 5-6 long days). Sleepless nights, little rest but I'm happy with the final product. I'm long due for a good night sleep. xD I made this from scratch and didn't copy or take ideas from any other candy machine. First time making something like this. :P

Robot Candy Dispenser, based after a robot from Crazy Planets.

Description/info:

Furthermore, candy canes hang in the torso compartment which contains a couple of lights.

Back view with the lid off:

Size: 55cm x 32cm x 32cm (21.6 x 12.6 x 12.6 inches)

Cost: Approx 100 AUD

Materials used:
- Thick (5mm) and thin (1mm) cardboard
- Foam board (5mm)
- Clear thick plastic
- Kebab sticks
- Tape
- Glue gun
- Foam spheres
- Twist up crayon shells and spring
- Small plastic containers
- Wrapping ribbon
- Silver wrapping paper
- Disposable plastic drinking lids

That's a great start! I can't even wonder how better other projects will be! LOL, I need an iPod, this competition has one~ but it's too late for me to join the competition so I think I need to wait and buy myself an iPod mini (That's all I can afford) =^___^=

My previous projects are all arty stuff with no function lol. So making this one really forced my brain to go into top gear. xD;

And awwww... Maybe next time?

I like 3D designs! With carton and other stuff. But they are really hard to make!

I don't really mind, I'll blow all my money on an Ipod Mini next Eid.
