TEN Suggestions for Bowling Buddies

Hey there,

I have a few suggestions for bowling buddies.

1. LEAGUES - It would be awesome if a group of friends could bowl together against other people in the world.

2. SETS - I think the game should keep track of the 3 most recent scores to create a set. New awards could be added for 600 series, 700 series, 800 series, and 900 series. Perhaps instead of icons, you could get a 298, 299, 300, and 800 ring that resembles the ones you get in real life.

3. LANE CONDITIONS - I can bowl a 300 easily after watching the tutorial. How about some random variable that creates some sort of lane condition at the start of each set. Each game bowled, the lane condition would be altered just a tad. When it changes, the change would be predictable. For heavy hookers, you would get a lot of oily taken off the lane as the set progresses so you would have to start your ball more to the left and arch it out more. For straight throwers, the oil would carry down the lane.

4. DIFFERENT BALL REACTIONS - Right now I have heard that all the bowling balls are the same. I think it would be awesome if the balls were different. One ball could hit the pocket harder than another. One ball could curve more than another. You could change balls while bowling. You could have a strike ball and a spare ball.

5. MOUSE CONTROL - It is very difficult to control the ball if you are trying to curve it. Gutterball 2 you can control the ball a lot better with the mouse. Also clicking the mouse gives some more momentum to the ball.

5. DIFFERENT LANE TYPES - Synthetic vs Wooden Lanes could spice up the ball reactions a bit and make it more challenging.

6. PREGAME SCREEN - Let's face it. The pre-game is 80 percent of bowling at least. People could get some information about the lanes on the pregame screen. That info could include lane type, oil pattern screen shot, etc. From there, you could choose which ball to use. After deciding the ball, you could select ball care products such as polish, or using sandpaper on it to get more reaction.

7. BOWLING AVERAGES - keeping track of this would be neat. Could give the option to reset average if not in league play. League average could be reset monthly. New awards could be added for high league average.

8. BALL CARE - People have a lot of extra money and do not know what to do with it. Could have a pro shop screen where they could resurface the ball. The ball itself could have some sort of health percentage. 100 percent would be brand new. It would go down perhaps a half percent after each game bowled.

9. ROCK N GLOW BOWLING - In the practice sessions, could have a different background for the bowling alley with flashing lights and music that could play. This would be optional though.

10. TRICK BOWLING - could have obstacles on the lane and have to knock down certain pins. Then your friend could try to match you.
